Macro’s kangaroo meat is sustainably and ethically sourced only from adult male species allowed for harvesting in Australia. No hormones or antibiotics are used in the production process. Kangaroo meat is a versatile family-friendly meat, high in protein, low in fat, and a rich source of vitamins and minerals.
Macro Meats has been exporting its products since early 2000s to many countries worldwide. Currently main markets of exports are European Union, Russia, USA, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Papua New Guinea, South Africa. The company holds all necessary Export Registrations including HACCP certification for its 3 manufacturing establishments located in the states of New South Wales and South Australia.
In cooperation with the Australian government and DAFF Macro is currently working on obtaining access to the large important markets in China, India, Thailand, South America, Middle East. Macro Meats has won many awards for both its business achievements and also its professionalism within the Australian Meat Industry. In November 2013 during the SA Food Industry Awards ceremony Macro became a Winner in the category Export Award presented by the Department for Manufacturing, Innovation, Trade, Resources and Energy of South Australia.
